NBA star posts UFO video on Facebook

American basketball star Manu Ginobili claimed on Facebook that he saw a UFO at Santa Monica beach on Dec. 1.

After arriving in Los Angeles for a game against the LA Lakers, he and his Spurs teammates happened to be at the spot where two mysterious flames fell, shot upward and then disappeared. Read rest here

Friday night’s mass UFO sighting in Chile witnessed by many thanks to Twitter

Another UFO was seen in Santiago, Chile on Friday night. The reports of the sighting were broadcast via Twitter, sending residents out to the streets to catch a glimpse.

The UFO was first reported over the capital, near San Cristobal Hill, at around 10:30 pm. Reports multiplied within minutes that the “luminous object” was sighted traveling over different districts of the city. Read rest here

PORT ORFORD, Oregon – Ancient peoples who first settled this moon-wet part of the Oregon coast described “visitors from the heavens during the winter months.” More recently there’s been a strobic play of headlights down each of the nine rock formations in the nearby Pacific. A UFO over Texas

is making news, less than a week after a New York UFO sighting took place. The activity is eerily close to Halloween, although for many enthusiasts these are welcomed sightings. Despite the unidentified nature of the sightings, many point to quite logical explanations for otherwise bone chilling, spooky sightings.

UFO sightings: New Yorkers are ‘blasé people’ and the rest of us are gullible

It has been a strange few days in Ufology, for sure.

Rumors, speculation and stories that just won’t die.

First, New Yorkers saw “UFOs” in the sky on October 13th. This was the very day that retired NORAD officer Stan Fulham predicted that UFOs would appear over major cities in a massive display. The official explanation was that the UFOs were actually escaped balloons. Somehow, the explanation hasn’t circulated widely enough across the internet.

Academician: Aliens exist, but also have weaknesses

Wang Sichao, a researcher and planetary astronomer at the Purple Hills Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that he believes extraterrestrial beings do exist and their UFOs have the ability to visit our earth. However, he disagrees with British scientist Stephen Hawking, who believes an encounter with aliens would spell disaster to human beings.

UK Still Staging UFO Crash Drills in Schools

Back in July of 2009 I wrote about the UK’s staged UFO crashes for UFO Digest ( My Teacher Was Abducted by Aliens: Preparation for Fake Disclosure? )where students, parents, and some staff, were unaware that these were fake. Often police were involved, happily taking part in the “hoaxes”, while terrified and confused students were encouraged to take part in “investigating” the crash. Sometimes alternative scenarios took place; a fake killing of a teacher in front of students on the playground, or a teacher announcing to students that they were going to be forcibly taken away to government orphanages because they were found to be deficit in some way. 'Glowing blue globes' at ground level watched by Maine campers

Three Maine witnesses report watching 12 to 15 "glowing blue globes" moving around an island campsite and shooting up 20 to 30 feet in the air as they watched from a boat in the dark on September 26, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

MOFFETT FIELD, Calif.--Airport firefighter training has gone mobile, and this week it traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area--raging fire, billowing smoke, and all.

At the NASA Ames Research Center, near Mountain View, Calif., this week, Silicon Valley fire departments are cooperating on emergency training missions in order to get or renew their Federal Aviation Administration certification for airport first responders. Every airport fire department is required to receive this FAA-approved aviation firefighting certification annually. And while fire crews can travel to fixed training facilities, that can be costly. So this mobile unit, one of three like it in the U.S., brings the firefighting exercises to them. China's state-run People's Daily reported Sept. 13 (in its "Life & Culture" section) that air traffic controllers "observed with instruments" a UFO about 20 miles from Baotou, the largest city in Inner Mongolia, about 8 p.m. on Sept. 11. Last night around 8pm Dave called me to say he was outside sky watching and that he had already seen a few good ones so I was bored and decided to go out and watch myself, all I brought with me was my night scope, and my camcorder. I set up facing north and after about 20 mins of scanning the skies I picked up the scope and the first place I pointed it to look through which was facing north looking North East 80 degrees I seen a formation of dull white circles in formation flying from North to south very fast, The first thing that hit me was this is the same thing I have seen before on a famous you tube video I mean a carbon copy of it. For years, people all over the world have aimed their cameras, both still and video, toward the sky in hopes of catching images of a UFO for everyone to see.

In some cases, they were remarkably successful. Rex Heflin’s pictures in 1965 of a hat-shaped object hovering in the sky over Santa Ana, Calif., have been regarded as some of the most famous ever taken of a UFO. Jupiter mistaken for UFO?

PORT ANGELES — If you see a shiny object in the night sky hovering just above the southeast horizon, don't worry.

It's just Jupiter.

The Clallam County Sheriff's Office responded to a call early Thursday morning from a Blue Mountain Road resident who was concerned about an unidentified flying object spotted on the horizon, said Undersheriff Ron Peregrin.

“We took a look at it through our binoculars,” he said, and determined that it was Jupiter, the largest plant in the solar system.

Peregrin said dispatchers received several more calls that morning from people mistaking Jupiter for a UFO, although he didn't know how many. Read rest here

UFO filmed for one hour at Estonian power plant

A UFO incident is making big news in Estonia currently. Allegedly a security camera at an unfinished power plant recorded a small UFO examining the area for almost an hour on August 28: However details of the event were only released to the public yesterday.

According to local media the UFO was shaped like a glowing ball with a diameter of less than a meter .

The object was in the camera's field of view for about an hour and was seen to take particular interest in crate of spare parts lying in the plant.

New UFO mystery

UFOs are still being spotted in the night skies across the Highlands.

The latest sighting of two glowing balls took place in Nairn.
It is the most recent strange phenomenon to be reported to the Highland News since June following months of reports of unidentified flying objects in the skies at locations around Inverness, Easter Ross and Fort William.
In the latest spot, Stephen Laurie, of Sutors Park, Nairn, said he saw two orange lights at around 10.30pm on September 18. Read rest here

Recently, reports of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) have been occurring frequently in China. On July 7 this year, more than 20 flights were postponed at Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, because of a sighting. Whenever such reported sightings occur, Wang Sichao, a research fellow at the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is much busier than usual. In addition to studying the sightings, Wang, who started work on UFOs nearly 40 years ago, has to check and reply to mail about UFOs from all across China. UFO Believers Say ET Could Come Calling on the Metro

KANSAS CITY, MO - A plant under construction in south Kansas City to produce parts for nuclear weapons could soon be getting some visits from outer space, according to local UFO activists who say that recent revelations by former U.S. Air Force officers about UFO sightings at nuclear weapons facilities give their movement new credibility.

It was a sight a Cote St. Luc doctor says he'll never forget.

Cleve Ziegler said though it sounds crazy, he spotted what appeared to be UFO above Cavendish Mall at about 1 o'clock Wednesday morning.

UFO filmed and seen by many in Seoul, South Korea

A UFO was seen by a number of witnesses as it hovered over the capital city of South Korea, Seoul. The incident occurred just a few days ago on 25 September at around 5pm.
The white, egg shaped object seen in the film below was both still and silent as it hovered above buildings. Witnesses can be heard in the clip declaring the object a UFO.
South Korea is not a UFO hot-spot but does get a reasonably high number of UFO sightings reported on yearly basis. The South Korean UFO Research Association has around fifty paid members and investigated around 20 sightings per annually. See video here

Sci-fi wars? Pilots say UFOs knocked out nukes

There are those who fear that aliens are bellicose beings, ready to swallow us whole and spit us out towards the moon.

Stephen Hawking appears to be in this pessimistic camp.

However, testimony offered by seven former U.S. Air Force pilots Monday makes me feel giddy with anticipation at contact with beings from afar. For it seems they might be the sort who put the fist into pacifist.

The pilots declared that they had either seen UFOs personally descend on nuclear establishments, or had received related reports from their colleagues.

According to CNN, Robert Hastings, a UFO researcher, declared: "I believe--these gentlemen believe--that this planet is being visited by beings from another world, who for whatever reason have taken an interest in the nuclear arms race which began at the end of World War II." Read rest here

UFOs eyed nukes, ex-Air Force personnel say

Seven former U.S. Air Force personnel gathered in Washington Monday to recount UFO sightings over nuclear weapons facilities in decades past – accounts that a UFO researcher says show extraterrestrial beings are interested in the world’s nuclear arms race and may be sending humans a message.

At a news conference at the National Press Club, the six former officers and one ex-enlisted man recalled either personal sightings or reports from subordinates and others of UFOs hovering over nuclear missile silos or nuclear weapons storage areas in the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Read rest here

Some Arlington residents report seeing strange blue lights zipping across the night sky that they describe as a UFO, but one expert suggests it's just a remote-controlled airplane.

UFO crash mystery video baffles viewers

Almost nothing can be verified about the UFO video that can be viewed below. Some are suggesting it was taken from a plane above Rio De Janeiro in Brazil by American tourists while others are suggesting it was filmed by a pilot aboard a plane from the cockpit.

The video shows something immense and consisting of many colored lights breaking up and falling to Earth. One of the witnesses to this UFO event can be heard postulating that it might be a satellite re-entering the atmosphere and coming apart.

Other viewers have suggested it might be a UFO crashing to Earth or an alien light display. More cynical viewers suggest it might just be fireworks.

Paradigm Research Group Update
It took about 150 hours, but the PRG Media Archive is once again current and sitting at 663 mainstream media, English language articles for 2010. Due to the huge growth of coverage of the UFO/ET issue, this archive is now representational of the ongoing coverage. The total number of articles for 2010 is likely double those listed. This is because many stories are now being written up in 20, 30, 40 venues with similar or identical content. Archiving all such articles would be counterproductive diluting the ability to survey the media content. The total number of articles written up in mainstream media since 1947 is probably in the 25,000 range. The number of articles not in English since 1947 is unknown, but certainly many thousands.

PRG created the PRG Media Archive to make mainstream reporters and editors aware the UFO/ET issue is in fact being covered extensively by standard media worldwide. More importantly it is to show the vast majority of this coverage - 95% plus in the modern era - is straight with little or no ridicule. The intent is to lower the fear barrier to proper engagement of the issue as the world slowly comes out from under the weakening truth embargo.

For some time we have been just one media feeding frenzy away from Disclosure. Which brings us to........................

Alvin Lawson dies at 80; UFO researcher questioned beliefs of alleged abductees

Alvin Lawson, an English professor at Cal State Long Beach who spent decades studying unidentified flying objects and questioning the beliefs of people who said they had been abducted, has died. He was 80.

Lawson died Sept. 8 at Western Medical Center in Anaheim from complications of pneumonia, said his daughter, Leslie Dirgo.

UN appoints Alien & UFO ambassador

In a move that seems to inch towards official global UFO disclosure and might even suggest that indeed aliens are on their way to openly meet Earthlings, the UN has appointed an official ambassador to aliens in the event that open contact occurs.

Sanchez disclosed the complete name of the installation as: "Rio Arriba Scientific & Technological Underground Auxiliary".
He stated that this information came to him directly from a retired Air Force Colonel in January of 2010 when the Colonel invited him for an private interview in his cabin in California.

Tucson UFO Sighting: Event witnessed by many remains a mystery
On the night of September 23rd, residents of Tucson saw strange lights in the sky. Various eyewitnesses reported 3 -5 lights in a line, while others reported an object with a triangular shape.
Reports of malfunctions started at the same time as the object flew overhead in a northwesterly path. Reports of interrupted satellite television transmissions were reported as the object flew over homes. Traffic lights were seen flickering at an intersection near Star Pass Blvd as the object passed overhead. A report of an elevator malfunction was reported. Read rest here

I had the bjeezus scared out of me Saturday afternoon. I ran into a small fleet of UFOs (Unfamiliar Farming Objects) near Nanton, south of Calgary.

There I was out on a beautiful fall day, having a routine look at manure spreading operations - sure, maybe I was a little excited, who wouldn't be - but, I rounded a corner on this quiet country road, and there they were. Aliens Are Monitoring Our Nukes, Worry Ex-Air Force Officers

Captain Robert Salas was on duty in Montana in 1967 when a UFO shut down the nuclear missiles on his base. And he's hardly the only one to make such a claim.

On Monday, six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about similar events at the National Press Club, all centering around unidentified flying objects and nuclear missiles. UFO sighting in Tucson sparks dozens of calls to newsrooms

Dan Marries of KOLD News 13 has reported via Twitter that residents on the NW and SW sides of Tucson have reported a UFO.

He indicated that more than a dozen calls have been made to the KOLD newsroom regarding the object. The triangle shaped object was reported to have flown over an intersection near Starr Pass.

As it passed over the intersection, the traffic lights flickered.

Amazing UFO Or Flying Alien Caught On Tape

The footage below was filmed in China in the last week by a passenger on a train on his way to the city of Tianjin in the county's north. The film shows what seems to be either a UFO or more likely what is referred to in China as a 'Tadpole Alien'.

The passenger, Mr Chi, alleges the UFO or creature flew up near the window he was next to and moved around while keeping up with the train, before eventually zooming off.

The object seen in the video is often thought to be a UFO however is an fact believed to a member of a race of aliens that the Chinese Government is in contact with.

It is not known where 'Tadpole Aliens' originate from however it is believed that they possess intellectual abilities way beyond Earthlings.

Bungling air traffic control officials sparked a full scale UFO alert after picking up 80 hot air balloons released by a wedding party on their radar.

UFO Research Interviews Alien On Exopolitics Tv

Jerry Wills is an accomplished musician from California, he is also stands at 6"8 tall. He claims to have been bought to Earth as a newborn aboard a UFO from the Tau Ceti Star System as part of a program called the 'betterment of Earth', organised by the "Council of Worlds'. He alleges he used to be visited by aliens yearly and briefed on his mission. However, the last such visit occurred on September 11 2001. He has not been in contact with aliens since then.
He recently granted UFO researcher Alfred Webre of the Exopolitics movement (a group that concerns itself with the political aspect of human interatcion with aliens) an interview (see video below). While Mr Webre does not endorse Mr Wills'claims he is prepared to consider them.
Many have dismissed Mr Wills' claims however others, along with Mr Webre, maintain an open mind on the matter.
Mr Wills alleges to have been asked by the aliens that supervise his mission to watch for signs of lasting peace or alternatively war leading up to the year 2012.

Q: There’s supposed to be a type of cloud that is often confused with being a UFO. What kind of cloud is it?

A: It’s most likely the lenticular cloud, says Brent McRoberts of Texas A&M University. Lenticular clouds are so-called because they often look like a camera lens. They can produce some of the oddest shapes of all clouds, many times looking like huge pancakes stacked on top of each other, he reports. “One reason they may be mistaken for UFOs is their odd shape,” McRoberts explains. “Also, lenticular clouds don’t move like other clouds — they tend to linger in one spot for a long time. They are often seen in the western U.S. but have been photographed all over the world, including Spain, Australia and France.” Read rest here

Fireball seen over Santa Fe likely a meteor

A bright, "significant" fireball seen passing near Santa Fe and Pecos on Tuesday night was likely a meteor, according to an Eldorado astronomer who captured the event on a special video camera.

UFO? Night sky mystery still intrigues the star-struck

STAR-STRUCK residents have continued to respond to reports of a strange bright star.
Rochelle Kvalsvig of Kokstad said that about two months ago, while looking toward the Chengwan Mountain between 5.30 and 6 pm, she too saw a bright white light with a red dot underneath it. It was there for at least four days, then just vanished. Read rest here

Times best selling list, has stated that she plans a campaign to approach committees in the U.S. Congress as well as the Obama administration to secure UFO disclosure. Ms. Kean has proposed the establishment of a UFO agency within the U.S. government.

Magnetic Hill?
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO - It's called "Magnetic Hill", a spot in Burlington, Ontario that has attracted many legends. Some say it is haunted, others say it's an optical illusion, but one thing is for sure, it has been the source of stories for generations.
The hill is on Kings Road, approaching the escarpment. Legend has it that you can put your car in neutral and be "pulled" up the hill. It is one of only a few places in Canada where the phenomenon occurs. There are also many places around the world with similar stories. Read rest here

UFO Sighting Report!
I was on my way home after a doctor’s appointment in town in the early afternoon in the summer of 1984. I lived in southwestern Michigan at the time. I first saw the flying object soon after I turned on a road which led four miles to my home. It was a beautiful sunny day without hardly a cloud in the sky. I saw a reflection in the corner of my left eye. I looked up at the tree line as I was traveling 45 mph. I was stunned to see a cigar shaped object reflecting rays from the sun. I could plainly distinguish a beautiful mirror like surface. I saw no wings,no port holes, no fins, no rudders,and no seams. It appeared to be one solid flying object. I became fearful and speeded my car up to 55 mph and then 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, and last 85 mph. The craft accelerated each time I did, which caused sheer panic to sweep over me! I had to slow down shortly after reaching 85 mph since my house was in view. The craft slowed down and stopped across the street at the tree line. I blew my horn and the baby sitter (16 years old neighbor girl) and my three children and nephew ran out of the house to witness the craft accelerating up and down at the tree line and just across the road only a few feet from our home. Out home was close to the main road, and the craft hovered just across the street. As we stood gazing in awe the noiseless craft turned and began to slowly move northwest. I will never forget the lady that looked straight up as she drove her car past our home. She was fixated on the strange craft and I feared she would run into a tree. I was astounded at what we had witnessed that sunny afternoon. It is forever etched in my memory. The craft was unlike anything I have ever seen in this world. I have no idea what it was. 'Fog' surrounds Michigan triangle UFO

A Michigan couple watched a triangle-shaped UFO at 5:50 a.m. on September 21, 2010, that hovered above a nearby tree line while a "fog or smoke" surrounded the object like "long trails of lights much like tentacles," according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. Morphing UFO Seen In Columbia

The remarkable UFO footage below was captured a few days ago above the Colombian city of Bello. Not much is known about this UFO footage however the clip has been submitted to UFO research organizations for study. What makes the footage interesting is the way in which the UFO seems to change shape: This suggests we might not be dealing here with human technology.
Colombia is a UFO hot spot and recently a large pyramid UFO was seen above its capital city, Bogota.

NASA'S Shuttle Discovery At Launch Pad, Liftoff Practice Set
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- After safely reaching its launch pad at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, space shuttle Discovery awaits the next major milestone for its upcoming and final mission to the International Space Station, STS-133.

Reporters are invited to cover a launch dress rehearsal, known as the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT), scheduled at Kennedy from Oct. 12 to 15. Six astronauts are set to launch aboard Discovery on Nov. 1 for the final scheduled flight before the orbiter is retired.

This September the weather was horrendous for the 2010 show.

Danville theater to present world premiere

A play based on actual events opens the West T. Hill Community Theatre 2010-2011 season. “High Strangeness,” written and directed by local playwright Elizabeth Orndorff, is the story of three women who claim to have been abducted by aliens and taken aboard a UFO one night on their way home from a restaurant.

SETI 2060, DO WE MAKE CONTACT BY THEN?

This month the National Radio Astronomy Observatory’s Green Bank Science Center is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the modern day search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI).

In 1960 a young radio astronomer, Frank Drake, undertook a bold and visionary experiment: He used the 85-foot dish antenna at Green Bank, W.V. to listen for radio signals from extraterrestrial civilizations.
